For the post of VILLAGE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

1. For SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs,

BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute 

Widows of all Castes: 

21 Years to 42** Years

2. For “Others” 21 Years to 32** Years

For the Posts of Junior Assistant (Non-Security)

 1. SCs, SC(A)s, STs and Destitute Widows of all Castes: 18 Years to 37** Years

2. MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs 

18 Years to 34** Years

3. “Others” [i.e., Candidates not 

belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, 

MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs]: 18 Years to 32** Years

EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION: (as on 30.03.2022)

VILLAGE ADMINISTRATIVE 

OFFICER

Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C 

Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of Studies.

JUNIOR ASSISTANT

(Non - Security), (Security),

Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C 

Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary 

Courses of Studies or to College Courses of Studies.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION (OBJECTIVE TYPE) (OMR METHOD)

Single Paper (S.S.L.C Std.) 

Part-A: கட்டாயத் தமிழ் மொழித் தகுதி மற்றும் மதிப்பீட்டுத் தேர்வு

(100 Questions/150 Marks)

Part-B: General Studies (75 Questions)  + Aptitude and Mental Ability Test  (25 Questions) 

(100 Questions/150 Marks) 

Total=200 Questions /300 Marks

Duration of Exam: 3 Hours

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination, the tentative list of eligible candidates will be announced in the Commission‟s website for uploading all the certificates in support of their claim for onscreen 

certificate verification. After verification, the eligible candidates will be summoned for Counselling for Departmental Unit allotment in the order of rank and category to which they are eligible as per the vacancy position.
